Dr. Gereon Kavermann

Having studied medicine for my degree and PhD at the Universities of Heidelberg and Düsseldorf I trained as an orthopaedic consultant in the orthopaedic department at the Marienkrankenhaus Düsseldorf under senior consultant Dr.Maaz und Prof Dr Klein.

Since 1996 I have been working as a resident consultant for orthopaedics in Düsseldorf.  I cover the whole spectrum of conservative orthopaedics from paediatric orthopaedics to methods of minimal invasion injection therapies on the spine with the guidance of CT or image converter.

As an active sportsman sports medicine has always been of great interest and occupies a large proportion of my daily consulting and treatment.

While training to be a consultant I also studied acupuncture at the German Medical Association for Acupuncture (DÄGfA) and received my qualification.
